Maridalia de Mota Trinidad is a designer, public-sector project manager, and community advocate whose work is rooted in service, resilience, and equity. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she moved to Springfield, Massachusetts, at age 18 with a steadfast commitment to professional excellence and community empowerment.
Her academic background is a testament to her technical expertise, holding an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (STCC), a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (UMass Amherst), and a Master’s Degree in Architecture (Boston Architectural College). She views architecture not just as a discipline, but as a powerful tool for social impact.
Maridalia has a distinguished career at the intersection of design and public service. After serving as a Building Inspector for the City of Springfield, she now leads housing modernization efforts for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As a Project Manager, she partners with Housing Authorities across Western Massachusetts to deliver sustainable, safe, and code-compliant infrastructure that preserves public assets and strengthens neighborhoods.
